It’s fast and furious, but tickets go on sale today for Elton John concert. The City of Summerside has put together a Facebook Page in hopes of helping people get the tickets (although it didn’t stop the people lining up from the day before).

Recently I visited Wikipedia and searched Prince Edward Island.  Why would an Islander (who isn’t doing a school history project) need to look up PEI?  Because as an Islander, I have my opinion on what makes this place so great. And I was curious to see what contributors to an online encyclopedia listed as some of the great things about PEI.

What does wiki think?

So I am sharing a few of theirs and a few of mine.

3. Reddish white sand beaches

5. The famous red soil have given Prince Edward Island a reputation as a province of outstanding natural beauty.

A few of my favorite Island things:

4. All in all, a nature lover’s paradise.

The guest services staff at the Econo Lodge Charlottetown recently held a meeting. We talked about the upcoming summer season and what needs to be done before the flush of travellers arrive on Prince Edward Island.

We worked on last minute details, taking care of business then, so we can take care of you now.

One of our items on our to-do list was to update our Wi-fi technology to ensure fast access to the Internet. We’ve replaced older parts and are happy to report excellent signal strength.

Also, a printer will be installed next to the guest computer. At the request of our guests who need to print theatre tickets, itineraries. We want to make sure you have what you need before heading out the door.

Today we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Prince William and Kate to our red land.

A lot of excitement as media and fans arrive on Prince Edward Island and we couldn’t be happier. This is a great way for people from all over the world to discover our rolling hills and fresh food. PEI is a great place to visit and it’s an honour and privilege to have the royal newlyweds choose PEI as a destination stop on their Royal Tour.
